Digital PASS: Available immediately after purchase in the Museums-PASS-Musées app (latest iOS or Android version required). Personalized PASS with photo. Only one PASS can be used per smartphone.
Plastic Card: Sent to you by mail (delivery time approximately 14 days). Personalized PASS. Name and photo are added after receiving the card.
How does the PASS work?
With your Museums-PASS-Musées, you enjoy free admission to all 350 member sites, including both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The Museums-PASS-Musées is activated upon your first visit. It is valid for one year and can be renewed online or at any member site.

If you always carry your smartphone and regularly use apps, choose the digital PASS.

No. You must choose between the Plastic Card and the digital PASS.
If you purchase a Plastic Card, you can later convert it into a digital PASS. However, once digitized, the Plastic Card will no longer be valid.
If you order a Plastic Card, you will receive a blank card by post. Write your last name and first name on the card and attach your photo under the adhesive film.
If you order a digital PASS, you will be prompted to upload a photo when adding the PASS to the app. You can either select a photo from your gallery or take a new one with your smartphone camera.
If you would like to give a Plastic Card as a gift, you can have it delivered to your address. The card is sent blank, allowing you to give it to the recipient, who can then add their name and photo.
You can also give a digital PASS as a gift. In this case, simply forward the information you receive by email after purchase to the intended recipient.
However, we recommend giving a Plastic Card as a gift. If the recipient prefers the digital version, they can digitize their physical PASS later.
If you would like to order several PASSES in the same format (for example, two Plastic Cards), simply select the desired quantity on the order page.
If you would like to order PASSES in different formats, return to the shop after adding the first PASS or PASSES to your cart and add the additional PASS of your choice.
You can also purchase and renew PASSES within the same order.
